One of the core programs of the Boy Scouts of America, a Venturing Crew is a fun-filled, co-ed organization run, organized and executed by teens, for teens, designed to help develop leadership and teamwork through outdoor adventures and unique outings and activities. The purpose of Venturing is to provide positive experiences to help youth mature and to prepare them to become responsible adults.

 

Members must be at least 14 years old, or 13 years old and have completed eighth grade, through age 21.
